About Recovia

We started with a question the industry stopped asking.

What if the person who owes money is still a customer — and what if treating them like one recovers more, not less?

The Recovia recovery floor: collectors working across dual monitors under the company wordmark and the line “Smarter collections. Stronger relationships.”

Recovia was founded in Sydney in 2026, inside the ZAAF Group, by people who had watched the same story repeat across banking, telco and BNPL: collections handled by agencies whose only tools were pressure and persistence, torching customer relationships to recover cents on the dollar.

The global evidence had become impossible to ignore — digital-first, empathetic, machine-learning-driven collections consistently outperforms the call-centre model on recovery, cost and customer satisfaction, all at once. Australia's incumbents weren't built for that playbook. So we built for it from scratch.

Today Recovia runs three products on one platform: Resolve for digital-first outsourced recovery, Reclaim for hard-end and complex debt, and Engage for enterprises running in-house collections under their own brand. Each side makes the other better — our operations train the models, and the models sharpen our operations.

What we believe

Four principles, non-negotiable.

Dignity first

Nobody plans to fall behind. Every flow, message and script starts from respect — because it's right, and because it works.

Evidence over instinct

Channel, timing, tone, offer — decided by measured outcomes, not collector folklore. If the data can't defend it, we don't do it.

Compliance is code

Rules enforced by software are rules that don't get broken on a bad day. We encode the law, then we audit the encoding.

Both sides win

The only sustainable collections model is one where the creditor recovers more and the customer walks away intact. We refuse the trade-off.

The team

Operators, engineers and one very busy compliance counsel.

We're a deliberately small Sydney team — collections operators who've run enterprise books, engineers from fintech and marketplaces, and data scientists who'd rather measure empathy than assume it. Backed by the ZAAF Group, we're hiring across engineering, operations and partnerships.

Work with us
Four people in a Sydney boardroom reviewing recovery performance on laptops and a tablet, the harbour visible behind them.

The industry is overdue for this.

Whether you're placing a portfolio, replacing your collections stack, or joining the team — let's talk.
